The old St. Barth days, brought back to life

The refreshing simplicity and sweetness of Villa Ocean Vibes (OCV) take us back to a simpler life on the island. Situated in Deve, in the hills of Vitet, the recently renovated luxury rental property has a very large pool area and terrace. Inside, there are closed-in living spaces, which include various places to lounge and enjoy the stunning ocean views that stretch from St. John to Toiny.

Along with having a general, pleasingly vintage feel, Villa Ocean Vibes is distinguished by the arched windows in the living room. This unique feature gives the vacation house a special feeling inside. One level below that, with the large sundeck and the heated swimming pool, those arches are repeated to create a covered sitting area where guests can enjoy a break from the Caribbean sun.

In the main room, in front of those floor-to-ceiling arched windows, there is a seating area with a large couch in the back, more seating in the front, a TV, and an indoor dining table. The big, well-equipped kitchen in the back enjoys the same lovely views. There is an outdoor dining area that also has that view, plus a second that’s in the garden and sheltered from inclement weather.

Two of the bedrooms are equal in size and comforts, which makes Villa Ocean Vibes a good choice for sharing with friends. The bedrooms are side by side in their own bungalow, which has a covered terrace. Both of them have his-and-hers closets, smart TVs, and ensuite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. The third bedroom is in its own bungalow a few steps down in the garden.
