Old-school charm in Pointe Milou

Classic St. Barth style never goes out of fashion, and Villa Adage (KAP) has that retro cool in spades. It is a luxury rental property full of old-school charm and simple island ease. Its location, on the Christopher Hotel side of Pointe Milou, gives it easy access to many of the island’s different neighborhoods. And its sea views, particularly at sunset, are priceless.

Because it is built on a large plot of land, Villa Adage is easily accessible. The years have given the garden time to become well established, and the result is a cocoon of greenery that surrounds the home. This makes for an easy Caribbean vacation.

Its simplicity and coziness make it a good choice for honeymooners, but it also accommodates a small family. The Sibarth Concierge can customize a stay for any occasion with services like private chefs and massage therapists or conveniences like grocery shopping and babysitting.

The living room has a sofa and rattan armchairs with cushions. The natural wood ceiling and porthole windows give it a nautical feeling, and it can be opened to the trade winds or fully air-conditioned. Behind it is the kitchen, which is well equipped with a gas stove and microwave but no oven.

In front, there is the terrace, with its panoramic views and a covered dining area facing the sea. A path leads down to a garden, swimming pool, and deck chairs with views of Pointe Milou Cove and the Saint-Jean and Flamands districts. A furnished gazebo offers another spot for alfresco dining.

The first bedroom is on the main level and accessed from inside the living room. The second bedroom is downstairs. Each one has an ensuite bathroom, a king-size bed, and a TV.
