The gracious, adaptable layout of Villa Belle Etoile makes it very easy to share. The rooms are separated enough from one another to grant each guest a feeling of privacy, but the common gathering spaces are large and convivial enough to accommodate a large group reminiscing over old memories—or making new ones. Sibarth’s concierge can arrange for special activities to help with that, from a group yoga class on the terrace to a wine tasting led by a top sommelier.
The master bedroom occupies its own bungalow apart from the main house. It has a European king-size bed, a private bathroom that has a distinctive bathtub, and its own special outdoor area. In the main house, on left side of the living area, the other four bedrooms all have king beds and ensuite bathrooms with rain showers. In each, the décor is striking, with black shutters against white walls and dramatic cube-shaped four-poster beds. Their entertainment and technology offerings are state of the art.
The shared living area is distinguished by clean lines and a modern sensibility with a sense of Caribbean heritage. The decorative corals are by Christian Liaigre. The indoor area unspools onto the sundeck, where a hanging daybed beckons for you to while away lazy afternoons. An indoor dining area defines the separation between the sitting area and the large chef’s kitchen, which, like the separate fitness room, is perfectly equipped for you to get the job done.
