Val André

Villa Val André (RLD2) is one of those places that visitors to St. Barth gaze at and think, “I wish I were there.” Located at the far end of St. Jean beach, this lovely retreat looks out over the expanse of the bay, the waves breaking on the reef and the Atlantic Ocean beyond.

With a neatly kept green lawn leading down to a white fence at the water’s edge, this villa is a very special kind of island paradise. Chaises on the grass beckon guests to grab the sunscreen and a good book and spend an afternoon just relaxing to the sound of the waves and the wind in the palms. The living area provides a place to retreat from the sun, and the kitchen is convenient and open to the view. Villa RLD2 offers indoor dining at a table for four as well as a larger table for six on the terrace. The first of the villa’s two bedrooms is on the second floor, with two twin beds that can be configured as one extra-large king. It has an ensuite bath with dual vanities and a private terrace looking out over St. Jean Bay. The second bedroom is on the ground floor beside the living area, also offering two twins or one king bed, an ensuite bath and a semi-private terrace opening directly onto the lawn and fantastic ocean view.
